Tempted by a year in economic trade in London?

Apply for the Lund University scholarship to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the UK. I instituted this scholarship because I want to offer young, creative and talented students at Lund University an opportunity to develop their knowledge of international trade and business relations. And maybe also these students would help to promote the university itself.

The scholarship holder will be involved in outreach activities and seminars and will help run the Young Professionals of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce (YP). The YP incorporates both entrepreneurship and leadership forums that seek to inspire young, ambitious individuals through the exchange of experiences and networking. The scholar will also work with activities for the Lund University alumni.

Currant scholars at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the UK: Stefan Westman, Stena Line Scholar, Johanna Bjarsch Follin, Investor Scholar, Fanny Siltberg, Anders Wall Scholar och Elin Hammenfors, Lund University Scholar.

The scholarship is to be awarded to an individual who has recently completed or is in the final year of a Bachelor’s programme at the School of Economics and Management or a Bachelor’s programme in Economics, Human Geography or Political Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Lund University.

The scholarship is for SEK 200 000. The placement will start in June 2017 for a period of 12 months, based at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in London. Applications are to be submitted to Lund University online at www.lu.se/stipendier. Applications will be dealt with by the university and the Swedish Chamber Commerce in the UK.

The deadline for applications is November 25, 2016.
